Teaching Style

As a graduate of Washington D.C.'s Yoga District 200 hour teacher training, I am most familiar with Dharma Yoga. I teach two different styles of vinyasa yoga: Dharma and Power. I modify my style to fit the needs of the class and the individual.

“Anybody, who wants to, can practice yoga. Anybody can breathe. Therefore, anybody can practice yoga. But, no one can practice every kind of yoga. It has to be the right yoga for the person. The student and teacher meet and decide on a program that is acceptable and suitable to the person.”
— T.K. V. Desikachar, The Heart of Yoga

What should you expect?

Patience. Getting into an Asana or learning how to balance on one's head is not a foundation of a yoga practice. Rather, yoga is a an eight-limbed path in which self-reflection continues to drive a personal relationship with your practice. If you would like to learn more or even try out a coaching session, please contact me.
